Jill Elaine Greene, Esq. is the namesake and leader of her team of fearless female attorneys fighting for justice at the Law Office of Jill Elaine Greene, located in Avon-by-the-Sea, Monmouth County, NJ.
A seasoned attorney, with 30 years of legal experience, Jill was practically born with a gavel in her hand. Her father, David Greene, established his general practice law office in 1949. He was a respected and beloved pillar in the community. Born and raised at the Jersey Shore, Jill often accompanied her father to the office, gaining early exposure to the world of law.
Jill completed her undergraduate education at Penn State. She then journeyed to the capital, graduating from American University in Washington D.C. with a Master’s Degree in Anthropology. It was during this time that Jill also found time to participate in after school programs at the National Cathedral School.
It wasn’t long before Jill, while in law school, began formally clerking for her father, learning about legal systems from the ground up. In time, she was drafting briefs and assisting clients. After graduating from the Rutgers School of Law, exactly 40 years after her father, Jill fulfilled her dream to work side by side with him as a licensed Attorney at Law.
After her father passed in 2015, Jill continued in his large footsteps, carrying his legacy on her tiny shoulders. The torch was passed and soon Jill was leading the helm, devoting herself and her team to the causes of both her father’s loyal clients and her new ones.
At the Law Office of Jill Elaine Greene, Jill continues to light the path towards justice for all her clients. She has stood vigil in protecting her clients’ rights, with sharp focus in the areas of Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation. Jill’s attention to the rights of her clients is only rivaled by her attention to the rights of animals. Often engaged in animal rescue efforts, Jill has fostered up to six dogs at one time. At home, these dear creatures offer her comfort and recharge her batteries, so she can be prepared and ready to fight her battles back in Court.

During her time of public service, Aliza graduated from the 251st Part Time NH Police Academy and was acknowledged for her spearheading efforts in establishing a Littleton District Mental Health Court designed to reduce recidivism, save taxpayer money and keep non-violent offenders out of jail while they undergo mental health treatment. In both 2010 and 2014, she was recognized and awarded citations for “Outstanding and Invaluable Service” from the Littleton Police Dept. As part of her training and experience with the police department, Aliza volunteered to be a stationary subject on the receiving end of a Taser gun. Clearly, Aliza is not afraid of a challenge!

Approximately one year ago Neptune Township football stand-out Braeden Bradforth died suddenly after his first day of football practice at Garden City Community College in Kansas. The coroner’s report confirmed that his cause of death was exertional heat stroke. Fatal exertional heat stroke is 100% preventable.
To date, Braeden’s family has been stonewalled by college officials, who have failed to answer some of the most basic questions surrounding Braeden’s death.
Since that tragic day, the Law Office of Jill Elaine Greene LLC and Joanne Atkins-Ingram, mother to Braeden, have worked together to uncover information regarding the events leading up to Braeden’s death and to promote awareness, the goal being preventing the fate of Joanne’s beloved son from ever happening to another student athlete. In that sense, Joanne is so much more than a volunteer for the Law Office of Jill Elaine Greene, but the Ambassador, Founder and President of an active grassroots movement seeking justice for Braeden and other vulnerable young athletes.
A lifelong resident of Monmouth County, Joanne graduated from Asbury Park High School, where she was co-captain of her cheerleading squad. She devoted her life to public service, only recently retiring from her position with the State of New Jersey, where she advocated for at risk youth and families within our juvenile and foster systems. Now her passion and devotion is focused on changing athletic systems in order to protect the rights of student athletes throughout the nation.
Joanne Atkins-Ingram and the Law Office of Jill Elaine Greene’s tireless efforts have rallied the community into seeking action, enlisting the attention and support of local politicians, such as Senator Vin Gopal and Congressman Chris Smith, both of whom are working to have bills passed protecting the rights of student athletes. For now, Joanne remains steadfast and determined in her fight for justice and her son. As a mother and conduit for change, she guards both roles fiercely to her heart. Her commitment to her cause is both admirable and unwavering. Joanne can be found volunteering at the Law Offices of Jill Elaine Greene, official headquarters for #Justice4Braeden, where she welcomes the opportunity to spread her message of justice for Braeden.
